Pailin Province

Pailin was a major gem mining and logging area, under Khmer Rouge control until 1997. After its integration, Pailin became a municipality and other businesses have developed. It is Cambodia’s smallest province at just 1,000km2 though over 20,000 people live there. Attractions include:

2. Pailin River In-town
3. Wat Kong Kang In-town
4. O’Tavaov Waterfalls (Phnom Kheav) 5km from town
5. O’Eb Waterfalls 10km from town
6. Phnom Kuy River 20km from town
7. Chamkar Knul
8. Bor Huy
9. Bor Ya Kha
10. Bor Taing Sou
11. O’ Chra The road to Prum
12. Phnom Ching Chak (Big and clear water lake)
